Thank you for your interest in our Airline Career Pilot (ACP) and Commercial Pilot (PP) training programs. We understand the importance of finding the right flight school, and we believe that The Flight School At Palm Springs is the right choice for your training needs.
Our school is located in the beautiful resort town of Palm Springs, California. We have perfect flying weather almost year round, with 360 days of VFR flying conditions. Palm Springs also offers the flexibility of flying in a tower-controlled environment, as well as at non-tower airports in desert and mountain practice areas, and it is located just 20 minutes east of the high volume Los Angeles Class Bravo Airspace. All of these things combined make our location quite unique.
Our Commercial staff and Certified Flight Instructors strive to provide the individual attention each student needs, offering you the best possible flying experience. The Commercial PILOT (PP) and AIRLINE CAREER PILOT (ACP) Programs are intense, comprehensive courses, lasting just four to five months, and are designed to meet the tough entry requirements for commercial, corporate and airline pilots.
Graduates of our ACP course who are in possession of valid U.S. work papers may opt to be employed as CFI's by The Flight School At Palm Springs. Traditionally, only the best pilots with the highest work ethics are invited to join our teaching staff as very well paid instructors. Most of our flight instructors fly between 80 and 120 hours per month.
Many of our graduates have gone on to work for carriers such as AIR CANADA, AMERICAN AIRLINES, AMERICAN EAGLE, AIR FRANCE, AUSTRIAN AIRLINES, CONTINENTAL, EXPRESS JET, FEDERAL EXPRESS, KLM, LUFTHANSA, and SKY WEST.
We offer a variety of high wing and low wing training aircraft, including NEW 2006/07 Cessna 172SP's & 182T's (G-1000 Glass Cockpit and HIGH PERFORMANCE), NEW OMF 160's, NEW DA-40's (G-1000 Glass Cockpit), Piper Dakota (HIGH PERFORMANCE with AIR CONDITION), a beautiful "classic" Beech Duchess and a NEW 2008 DA-42 (G-1000 GLASS COCKPIT) , the most modern multiengine trainer in the world. Safety is our number one priority at The Flight School At Palm Springs. All our aircraft undergo meticulous 25, 50 & 100 hour maintenance inspections.
All our Commercial PILOT and AIRLINE CAREER PILOT courses are GUARANTEED, however we'll evaluate your pilot skills during the first two weeks of training. After that we'll decide together whether you should continue the program or not.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF YOUR FLIGHT TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED IN OUR NEW, 2006/07 CESSNA 172SP's & turbo charged 182T's, NEW OMF 160's, NEW DA-40's, Cessna 172RG, air conditioned high performance Piper Dakota, Beech Duchess and NEW 2008 DA-42!!! We are proud to be the ONLY flight school in the United States to provide NEW aircraft from the very first flight lesson through the Commercial License.

ACCOMMODATION
We are glad to help finding accommodation for our out-of-town students. There are 1, 2 and 3 -bedroom apartments with and without pool available, all just minutes away form the airport.

The package prices are guaranteed for up to one year from beginning of flight training. There will be no rate increases and no fuel surcharges!
Graduates of the CFI and ACP packages may start right away working as very well paid flight instructors at The Flight School At Palm Springs and can expect to get their ATP license (1,500 hrs flight time) as soon as 13 months later.
